Yesterday…….I was on leave, and was roaming around Ramoji Film City with my Aunty. She came from Orissa to attend a ceremony of our relatives. I booked APTDC tour package of RFC. It costs Rs. 415 for each, and includes the entry ticket (entry ticket is Rs 250). We started at around 7 45AM from Yatri Niwas, near paradise, Begumpet. You will meet Rehman Miyan who is bus driver cum Guide, interesting person. The bus stopped at APTDC office at Bashhebagh where rest of the tourist boarded. We reached RFC at around 9 30 AM
This was my 2nd visit to RFC, so a bit boring). First time I went on my Pulsar with my brother and my friends Happy(Prasanjit Tripathy) and Janne (G Sai Ramesh).
First stop wasthe entrance where our driver got down and brought us the tickets. If you are coming by your own, you need to park your vehicles here and purchase the tickets. The security people will paste a RFC ticket on you. There will be RFC bus which will take you to next stop called Eureka.
ENTRANCE:
On the way to Eureka you can see the famous Saanghi Temple on a hill. Eureka can be called the Center point of RFC. After reaching there board a bus from terminal one. This is a guided tour to RFC, you may check out all fake things of films. This bus will drop you at Borasura Cave (not sure of the name), another fake cave. From there you may board another bus to a place near Eureka, you will find Movie Magic an interesting place, they will give a demo of film shooting. Next to that you may check out a tour on those electric vehichles. Now rush to Alampana theatre, at 12 30 PM they have Spirit of Ramoji Show.
.
After this show at 1 PM there is Wild Wild west show. Then you can have lunch at Ganga Jamuna a veg restraunt (50 bucks, not worth), you may check out North indian restraunt at Alampana.
After having lunch you can check out places inside DaddaJinni. There is a Ship having a video parlour for children, a fast food restraunt on train, a rain dance, toy world etc.
Then time for some free rides. The best rides I have ever been to is Ranger, its like Columbus, but will make u upside down. Never miss that. There are some other rides also.
You can also check out the meena bazaar of Alampana, and near Alampana, there is a simulation ride of aircraft, do check that out.
We also saw the same comedy show, and closing ceremony is at 5 30PM, we didnt see it this time, as the departure time of the APTDC bus was 4 PM.
Alltotal, a good place for the first visit, second time its boring.
